Data Deletion Instructions

Effective date: March 30, 2026

cloudjacked allows you to delete your account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains the available methods and what happens when you request deletion.

1. Delete Your Account from the App

Open the cloudjacked desktop app, go to Settings, and select Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm. Once confirmed, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.

2. Request Deletion by Email

If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing zachary@cloudjacked.com from the email address associated with your account. Include "Delete My Account" in the subject line. We will verify your identity and process the request within 7 business days.

3. What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

  • Your account information (email, hashed password).
  • All connected social account data (encrypted OAuth tokens, platform user IDs).
  • Hashtag presets and caption templates.
  • Publish history and logs.
  • Uploaded images stored in our cloud storage (Cloudflare R2).

4. What We Cannot Delete

  • Posts already published to social platforms. Content posted to Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok lives on those platforms. To remove published posts, use each platform's own deletion tools.
  • Stripe payment records. Stripe retains transaction history for legal and financial compliance purposes. You can contact Stripe directly regarding their data retention policies.

5. Deletion Timeline

Account deletion is processed within 30 days of your request. During this period, your account will be deactivated and inaccessible. After 30 days, all data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems.
